As a Team Leader, you will coordinate, supervise and direct activities for employees to achieve strategic goals.
You should have leadership skills and be able to train, motivate and provide guidance to employees.
Project management skills are critical for helping teams complete tasks on time and with maximum efficiency.
Overall, you should be a strategic thinker, with good communication skills and organization abilities.
You should be able to handle stressful situations, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
In order to succeed, the Team Leader must possess problem-solving capabilities in order to analyze problems and develop solutions with little direction.
Ideally, the Team Leader will be an analytical, self-motivated individual who has experience leading groups.
Responsibilities:
Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures Assists the Owner in managing by supervising day-to-day activities of employees Assigns work tasks as needed Ensures display areas are appropriately clean, stocked, and visually appealing Ensures all equipment is in good working order Operates cash register and maintains proper security of cash at all times Monitors compliance with wellness and safety procedures and guidelines, builds awareness about wellness and safety, and reports any safety concerns to the Owner Follows all Health and Safety protocols according to the Department of Health Ensures deliveries are put away in a timely manner Ensures that the company has most current contact information for all associates working in the restaurant.
