- Provide individualized services/supports that enable persons served the opportunity to gain and/or maintain employment in a competitive integrated work setting within the county of their residence, or in close proximity, that is at or above minimum wage.
- Support and be enthusiastic about supporting people's talents and career goals.
These services/supports may be provided at community job sites, within formal and organized training and educational settings, through coaching, by tutorial services or within the organization.
- This position requires flexibility, as shifts vary depending upon the schedule and training needs of the people we support.
- Schedule will include some evenings and weekends, and are flexible dependent on service needs.
Required
Experience:
- Minimum of one year experience in providing specific supports to individuals with disabilities related to supported employment of those individuals.
- Ability to network and discover the needs of local businesses.
Required skills:
- Ability to work well within a team setting, willingness to learn and open-mindedness, communication skills, interpersonal skills, self-motivated and self-management skills, problem solving skills, and a strong work ethic.
- Must be organized and have computer and data entry skills.
- Experience in a variety of industries is a benefit.
- Ability to coach and help people grow in their positions using a personalized approach.
- Must be enthusiastic about supporting people's passions and career goals.
