The Site Coordinator is responsible for the overall operation and management the community living arrangement homes and assuring that the program complies with Community Standards for DBHDD Programs and licensing requirements if applicable.
Qualifications:
The position requires a person eighteen (18) years of age or older with a high school diploma and two (2) years' experience with individuals with disabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
The position requires the ability to work with co-workers, consumers, families, and the community.
The individual must be able to work a flexible work schedule.
The position requires that the individual have a valid Georgia driver's license and is able to continuously meet requirements of VOA vehicle insurance company.
Principal Activities:
1.
Assist in recruiting, screening, and hiring staff, including completion of all required documentation.
2.
Assist with DSP oversight and fill shifts when call outs occur 3.
Coordinate implementation of consumers' ISPs.
4.
Assist in maintaining schedules in PayCor 5.
Assume 24-hour on-call emergency duty.
6.
Serve as liaison between VOA-GA and other community resources.
7.
Maintain current and accurate consumer records.
8.
Provide direct care as needed at the homes with scheduled days of 2 to 3 weekly.
9.
Ensure health and safety of consumers.
10.
Coordinate maintenance of facilities and vehicles to promote clean, safe, and healthy environments.
11.
Report any known exposure to TB or hepatitis to the supervisor immediately.
12.
Monitor consumers' personal finances are appropriately managed in accordance to approved policy and procedure.

Language skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribe style and format.
Must have the ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.
